Scan and save anything, anywhere without needing to be connected to a computer or an external power source.
The ION Copy Cat is battery powered (included) and all scans are saved as jpegs directly to an inserted micro SD card; once saved to micro SD card you can transfer files to your PC or Mac (using the supplied USB lead or directly from the SD card), take them to be printed, or view them on a mobile phone or TV.
OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software is included (Windows only) which enables your computer to transform scanned words from a jpeg file into editable text on a word file!
It's ultra compact for storing in a bag, laptop holdall, briefcase or drawer and is ideal for scanning and saving textbook pages, recipes from magazines, receipts, material of all shapes and sizes (curtain & upholstery samples etc) and photographs. It's particularly useful for delicate documents that need to be handled with care.
Copycat offers full colour scanning for photos, drawings and more, and will scan documents up to A4 width and over 1.2m long.
